Handwriting Upload Instructions

To make sure your handwriting engraves clearly, please prepare it using our Handwriting Preview & Trace Tool before uploading it to your order.

1. Open the Logo Preview & Trace Tool.
2. Upload a clear photo or scan of your handwriting to the tool.
3. Adjust the Threshold slider until the handwriting looks clear and all important details are visible.
4. Choose your engraving colour: Black or Silver.
• We can only engrave the handwriting in black or silver.
• Full-colour or multi-colour engraving is not available.
5. Download the finished handwriting as a PNG file.
6. Return to this product page and upload the PNG file with your order.

You can upload handwriting created especially for the cufflinks, or use handwriting from an existing card, letter, note, signature, or other treasured keepsake.

Important: Please upload the PNG created by the Preview & Trace Tool, rather than your original photo or scan. This helps us produce the best possible engraving preview.

Handwriting not looking quite right?
Light, faded, thin, or detailed handwriting may not convert perfectly. Email your handwriting image to info@clinks.com and our artwork team can prepare a mock-up for you.

If the preview appears slightly off-centre, skewed or overlapping, rest assured our artist will centre the engraving and ensure it is not cut off.

Turnaround time: Please allow 2 full business days for engraving, in addition to postage time. If you have an urgent requirement please contact us and we will try to accommodate.
